Day 1:
MAR 03RD - THURSDAY - London / Rio de Janeiro
Check-in at London Heathrow for your overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro with TAM airlines. Flight JJ 8085 LHR-RIO Dep 2105 Arr 0828 next day. Connection
Day 2:
MAR 04TH - FRIDAY - Rio de Janeiro
Welcome do Rio de Janeiro, the marvelous city, land of soccer, bossa nova and carnival. Immigration and customs at the Tom Jobim Airport. Transfers to your hotel. Accommodations shall be ready, so you can freshen up and rest before exploring Rio de Janeiro. It's Carnival so they is a lot going on in the city, all day long. At the end of the afternoon, Banda de Ipanema and its aficcionados in creative and funny carnival costumes.
Day 3:
MAR 05TH - SATURDAY - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Today's highlights are the street bands and the Sambadrome Parade, in the evening (not included).
Day 4:
MAR 06TH - SUNDAY - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Join the many samba enthusiasts or just relax on the beaches of Ipanema and Copcabana. It's the first day for the Parade at Sambadrome (not included).
Day 5:
MAR 07TH - MONDAY - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at hotel. It's a nice day for a walk along the beaches. By this time, you certainly have so many things to do and I sooo little time. It's the second and last day for the Parade at Sambadrome (not included).
Day 6:
MAR 08TH - TUESDAY - Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at Hotel. As the city starts to "clean" a bit from the carnival goers, we will take the morning to visit the statue of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, known as the Corcovado. It's a 4 hr regular tour with English speaking guide. Included.
Day 7:
MAR 09TH - WEDNESDAY - Rio de Janeiro / Manaus
Early transfer to airport and direct flight to Manaus. Your lodge guide will greet you at airport. Transfer to Lodge. 3-Night Package full of activities at your selected jungle lodge. Full-Board, all activities and transfers included. Flight JJ 3261 Dep 0842 Arr 1340 in Manaus (changing planes in Brasilia)
Day8:
MAR 10TH - THURSDAY - Amazon Lodge
Guided activities at your selected lodge. Full Board.
Day 9:
MAR 11TH FRIDAY - Amazon Lodge
Guided activities at your selected lodge. Full Board.
Day 10:
MAR 12TH - SATURDAY - Manaus / Iguazu
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the Airport in Manaus for your flight to Iguazu Falls, with a 2-hour stopover in Sao Paulo. Flight JJ3749/JJ3557 Dep 1610 Arr 0135. Upon arrival in Iguazu, guided transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 11:
MAR 13TH - SUNDAY - Iguazu
After breakfast, guided tour to the Brazilian Falls, guided. Rest of the day at leisure for a complementary optional tour. We recommend the Macuco Safari or even a visit to Itaipu Dam. Or take the time to cross the border and visit the Argentinean side and its famous Devil's throat.
Day 12:
MAR 14TH - MONDAY - Iguazu / London
Breakfast, day at leisure. Check-out by noon. Transfer to airport for your flight to London with a connection in Sao Paulo. Flight JJ 3168/JJ 8084 Dep 1930 Arr 1400 next day.
Day 13:
MAR 15TH - TUESDAY - London
Arrival in London. End of services.
